Aluminum circles blanked at the plant from our own coil, for deep drawing and spinning. Diameters from 5.51 to 48 in (140 to 1,219 mm) and gauges from 0.0220 to 0.1575 in (0.56 to 4.0 mm), in mill finish.
An aluminum circle, or disc, is a flat round piece blanked from rolled coil, with the diameter and gauge required by the drawing die of a pot, a pan, a steamer or a lighting fixture body.

Frequently asked questions
Which aluminum alloy is used for pots and pans?
For deep drawing and spinning, 1050 or 1100 in O temper: maximum ductility. For parts that need more rigidity, such as thick bases or large steamers, 3004 or 3105. Thickness runs from 0.06 to 0.157 in depending on the part.
Why does an aluminum pan base warp?
Insufficient thickness for the diameter, an alloy too soft for the use, or residual stress from rolling. The fix is usually more gauge or moving from 1100 to 3004; the sales executive reviews it with your die.
Are Almexa circles suitable for food contact?
Yes, 1000 and 3000 series aluminum is used in cookware. State in the quote that the part will have food contact and which coating you will apply, and the sales executive confirms alloy, finish and the current quality documentation.
