What a cookware manufacturer asks for
A draw that tears, a base that warps or a non-stick coating that lifts cost more than the circle. All three depend on alloy, temper and metal cleanliness, and all three are controlled at the furnace.
For US cookware brands, a Mexican mill means USMCA-originating aluminum and a supplier reachable by truck; for Mexican makers, it means circles to size with domestic origin on the label.

Food contact
In the quote, state whether the part will have direct food contact and which coating you will apply (non-stick, enamel or anodizing), so alloy, temper and surface cleanliness are chosen accordingly. The lot's mill test report ships with every delivery.

What circle thickness is used for a frying pan?
Between 0.08 and 0.157 in depending on diameter and whether it carries an induction base; pressure cookers, 0.10 to 0.157 in; light steamers and saucepans, 0.04 to 0.08 in.
Do the circles ship with a coating?
They normally ship in mill finish, ready for your non-stick or enamel. If you need the circle with non-stick or paint applied, we can also deliver it that way with the support of our sister company, Vasconia. State the coating in the quote.
What is metal spinning and which circle do I need?
Spinning shapes the part on a lathe: the circle turns while the operator presses it with a tool against a form until the pot takes shape. It is very common in Mexican cookware shops, where it is called entallado or rechazado. For spinning, 1050 or 1100 in O temper, the most ductile, is the right choice; state diameter, gauge and pieces per month when you request a quote.
