What data this site collects, why, who it is shared with, which cookies it uses and how you exercise your rights.
Almexa Aluminio, S.A. de C.V. ("Almexa"), with address at Benjamín Franklin 9, Parque Industrial La Joya, 54730, Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of Mexico, Mexico, is responsible for the personal data collected on almexa.com.mx, under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).
Data we collect
- What you give us in the quote form and calculators: name, company, email, phone (optional), product, technical specification, volume and the message you write.
- What you write in the chat: name, email and the content of the conversation.
- What is collected automatically while you browse: IP address, approximate location derived from the IP (city, state and country), browser and device type, pages you visited, the page you arrived on, the referring site and the campaign parameters in the address.
- We do not ask for sensitive personal data or financial data. Please do not include it in your messages.
What we use your data for
Purposes needed to serve you
- Answer your quote or information request and follow up commercially.
- Send you a calculator result if you asked for it.
- Reply to your chat messages.
- Record your request in our sales system (CRM) and assign it to the right sales rep.
- Protect the site against abusive or automated submissions.
Additional purposes
- Send you technical and commercial information from Almexa.
- Measure how the site is used (pages visited, heatmaps and session recordings) and how you found us, to improve the site and our campaigns.
You can refuse these additional purposes at any time without affecting your request: decline cookies under "Cookie preferences" and write to recursoshumanos@almexa.com.mx to stop receiving commercial information.
Cookies and tracking technologies
The site uses cookies and browser local storage. From Mexico and the rest of the Americas they are active when you arrive, and a notice at the bottom of the page lets you decline them. From Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and on the French version of the site, they stay off until you accept them. Either way, you can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page; declining deletes the HubSpot, Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics cookies.

Clarity masks what you type in form fields by default. In Google Analytics, Google signals and ad personalization are turned off, and your contact details are not sent. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works the same without them.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. To run the site we use providers that process data only on Almexa's behalf and under its instructions. Some are outside Mexico, mainly in the United States:
- HubSpot, Inc.: CRM, chat and request records.
- Microsoft (Clarity): site usage measurement.
- Google (Google Analytics): visit and campaign measurement, with no personalized advertising.
- Google (reCAPTCHA): protection of the forms against spam and bots.
- Google (Almexa's corporate email): receiving requests by email.
- GoDaddy: site hosting and storage of the requests received.
- ipinfo.io: approximate location lookup of the IP address.
- The provider that builds and runs this site, which receives a copy of requests to check that the form works.
We only transfer your data to third parties without your consent in the cases allowed by the LFPDPPP, for example when a law or a competent authority requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and for the periods required by applicable law. After that it is blocked and deleted.
Your rights: access, rectification, cancellation and objection (ARCO)
You can find out what data we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it or object to its use, and also withdraw any consent you gave us. To do so, write to recursoshumanos@almexa.com.mx or deliver your request at Almexa's address. Your request must include:
- Your name and an email or address for our reply.
- A copy of an official ID or, if you act for someone else, proof of representation.
- A clear description of the data and the right you want to exercise; for a correction, the correct data.
- Anything that helps us find your information, such as the approximate date of your request.
We will reply through the same channel within the time limits set by the LFPDPPP.
How to limit the use of your data
Besides declining cookies, you can ask us at recursoshumanos@almexa.com.mx to stop sending you commercial information. In Mexico you can also sign up for PROFECO's Public Registry to Avoid Advertising (REPEP).
Minors
This site is aimed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Authority
If you believe your right to personal data protection has been violated, you can go to Mexico's Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, the authority on this matter under the LFPDPPP.
