Aluminum sheet and plate
Aluminum sheets cut to length from coil made at Almexa, 0.0197 to 0.1575 in (0.5 to 4.0 mm) thick, up to 47.2 in (1,200 mm) wide and 119.3 in (3,030 mm) long, with no uncoiling or leveling on your side. For heavier gauges we also make plate, from 0.157 to 13 in (4 to 330 mm).
Cut-to-length aluminum sheet is cold-rolled coil cut into flat sheets of defined length and width, ready to stamp, bend, weld or paint without an uncoiling line.

Frequently asked questions
What gauge of aluminum sheet do I need?
It depends on the part. We make sheet from 0.0197 to 0.1575 in (0.5 to 4.0 mm): truck bodies and structures use 0.040 to 0.118 in (1.0 to 3.0 mm); plates and signage, 0.040 to 0.059 in (1.0 to 1.5 mm). For gauges under 0.0197 in (0.5 mm), coil or strip from 0.0177 in (0.45 mm) is the better fit. The gauge guide on the blog has the table in inches and millimeters.
Does Almexa sell sheet by the piece or by the ton?
Quotes are per metric ton, although the order is specified in sheets. State size and quantity and the sales executive converts to weight with the same formula as the site's calculator.
Does Almexa make heavy aluminum plate?
Yes. For gauges above 0.157 in (4 mm) we make plate from 0.157 to 13 in (4 to 330 mm), direct-chill cast. State alloy, dimensions and quantity in the quote and the sales executive confirms the date based on the plant schedule.
